If I may add a second comment : this is a most marvelous upgrade. I burnt the cd, went down to my music room, put the volume up and what a blast ! Just incredible. The band was playing in front of me. Listen just to the drum solo. Incredible stereo effects. Amazing.
Mostly enjoyable. A must have to be experienced at full volume.

Hi Derek, yes incredible stereo effects but not consistent throughout the show, it's a soundboard after all.
Next week I will post another great Rush recording, not a concert but a complete rehearsal with extraordinary sound from 1996.
Being from Paris I presume you know Trust, I have some of their records from the '80s, great stuff, still listen to it once in a while.
Cheers

Indeed, Trust is a legendary hard rock band in France. The guitarist was even the main lead guitarist for the late Johnny Halliday on some tours. I guess it was paying better than as a member of Trust. Their most well known song Antisocial still plays on FM radio. Trust still does some concerts from time to time and issues a Live CD at almost each tour, a bit as Rush does at each tour.

Antisocial was the first song I heard from Trust on the radio, later covered by Anthrax. Then it was Mr Comédie and L'Elite from the first album. I still love Repression and have it on Vinyl and CD :)
