This was supposedly from a July 7, 1981 show, the same month the album Girls to Chat & Boys to Bounce was released and strangely no tracks from it are present... maybe this isn't the exact date.
Edit: According to various sources the correct date for this is July 12, 1980.

.H*P*D.
just saw these guys, obviously not the EXACT same guys though, a few weeks ago.
still one of the best boogie bands around.
gotta love my friend bryan bassett jammin on that guitar!
thank you
I Think this is 7-18-1980, and track 11 is Chateau Lafitte 59 Boogie - probably bcast in 1981
Hello and thanks for sharing this excellent Foghat boot.
Some sources list this show as 18 July 1980 at same venue...
Whatever the day, good boogie rock indeed !
Derek
Thanks guys, makes more sense this being from 1980.
Good Stuff ! Saw them a few times between '76- '81 here in the D.C. area. They Blew the roof off the old Capital Center everytime ! We need more ! Thanks
Per this site's (http://www.foghat.com/nav.htm) tour information, supposedly gleaned from Lonesome Dave's archives, Foghat's lone 1980 appearance at the Amphitheater was July 12th.
I have to feel this is correct, as the 1975-1978 (when I closely followed the band) Chicago dates are also correct.
Yes, after listening i would say that this is the 1980 show. Comparing this version to another i have at 160kbps,this version has been sped up and is too fast, hence why it is well over a minute shorter than the other version i have. The 160 recording is also better than this. Catley.
ciao thx ...
